Pete and Katie met Mike Kaliczak via ham radio when he was visiting Santa Barbara in about 1968.  Keeping up over the years has been fun, Mike has always been interested in boating and we made several Lake Mojave trips with him.

Now living with wife Meg in Chico he is still boating and we were fortunate to be able to visit them during our Sea Doo trip in the summer of 2006 (see that trip on this site for more pictures of him and Meg).

They have several great lakes very near their house
